Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Remote in LATAM

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help us build scalable, reliable, and high-performance data infrastructure. You will play a key role in designing and implementing data pipelines, managing large-scale datasets, and enabling advanced analytics and machine learning across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines

• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and product teams to define data needs

• Optimize data architectures for performance, reliability, and scalability

• Build and maintain data models and integrations using cloud-native tools

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues in production environments

• Guide and mentor junior data engineers and promote best practices

What We are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field

• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java

• Hands-on experience with modern data stack technologies (e.g., Spark, Airflow, dbt, Kafka)

• Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)

• Solid understanding of SQL and distributed systems

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming data architectures

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Background in analytics or machine learning environments
