Opportunity Overview

The Software Engineering team in Costa Rica is looking for a Data Engineer with a passion for learning, developing high-quality data solutions, solving complex problems, and becoming part of a smart and innovative team. Are you able to balance a variety of tasks related to data integration, data modeling, data analysis, and automation? Interact with multi-functional teams from the product definition stage through product release? Then you're exactly who we're looking for!

This position will have the following responsibilities:

• Create robust data models with a focus on scalability, high performance, and maintainability.
• Work with different stakeholders to define the requirements and needs for the data.
• Conceive and implement fully functional and high-performing data solutions.
• Tackle difficult problems and come up with innovative data solutions.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve our product, our process, and our team.
• Develop and maintain VBA scripts, Office Excel solutions and RPAs.
• Possibility to collaborate on web development projects using React and integrate with various databases.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy data solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• English Proficiency (B2+)
• 3+ years of experience with:
• • Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, VBA, and Office Excel (Power Query)
  • Data Engineering.
  • Collaborating and supporting international teams.
  • Web frameworks development technologies such as React, C#, Angular, Django.
  • Databases and Data structures.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.
• Finance knowledge.
• Experience with Visual Studio and GitHub.
• Knowledge of PPM tools or flows regarding project management.
• Scrum, Agile.
