What You'll Do

IT Cloud Infrastructure Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing DevOps strategy across multiple teams, driving automation, security, and operational efficiency while aligning DevOps practices with business goals. This role requires a balance of leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to implement modern DevOps methodologies and support the latest technologies.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the DevSecOps strategy. Align DevOps initiatives with business and engineering objectives.
  • Oversee engineers, managers, and architects to ensure efficient collaboration.
  • Foster a DevOps culture. Promote automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs: Track deployment frequency, mean time to recovery (MTTR), and system uptime.
  • Advocate for DevOps best practices across the organization: Work with executives, product teams, and security teams to improve efficiency.
  • Define cloud adoption and migration strategies. Ensure optimal cloud utilization with AWS, Azure.
  • Oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption. Standardize Terraform, AWS CloudFormation across teams.
  • Optimize multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures. Ensure cost-efficient, scalable solutions.
  • Manage edge computing and high-performance computing (HPC) for latency-sensitive applications.
  • Implement scalable and secure software delivery pipelines.
  • Manage enterprise CI/CD platforms. Oversee Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
  • Introduce progressive deployment strategies. Implement blue-green, canary, and feature flag deployments.
  • Ensure compliance in software delivery. Enforce regulatory standards across pipelines.
  • Ensure DevSecOps adoption. Embed security into the software development lifecycle.
  • Implement compliance automation. Standardize security policies across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Ensure API security and zero-trust architecture. Secure workloads and microservices communications.
  • Manage secrets and access controls. Enforce least privilege access for DevOps tools and pipelines.
  • Ensure full-stack observability. Standardize monitoring and logging frameworks across the enterprise.
  • Define SLOs and SLIs. Establish and maintain service reliability goals.
  • Implement automated incident response. Adopt AI-driven observability and self-healing systems.
  • Drive resilience engineering initiatives. Improve system reliability with chaos engineering.
  • Manage cloud cost efficiency. Implement strategies to reduce cloud spend while maintaining performance.
  • Implement FinOps best practices, Ensure cost transparency and resource accountability.
  • Optimize Kubernetes and container workloads, Manage right-sizing and auto-scaling policies.
  • Support MLOps adoption, Standardize ML model deployment and training automation.
  • Implement AI-driven observability. Use AI/ML tools for predictive analytics and automated anomaly detection.
  • Implement identity and access management (IAM) best practices. Ensure secure access controls for DevOps workflows.
  • Align DevOps initiatives with executive goals. Present DevOps strategies and ROI to leadership.
  • Improve cross-functional collaboration. Ensure DevOps, engineering, and security teams work towards common goals.
  • Drive digital transformation, Lead cloud-native and DevOps-first initiatives across the enterprise.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead cloud engineers and infrastructure teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Align cloud initiatives with business goals and future scalability.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Quickly address cloud infrastructure challenges.


What You'll Bring

Must haves:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud platform engineering like AWS or Azure, including 5 years of experience in a Management or leadership role
  • 6 years plus experience with docker and Kubernetes.
  • 8 years plus experience with Jenkins/CircleCI/Octopus and other CI/CD Tools.
  • 4 Years plus experience in packer/Terraform.
  • Experience in Cloud Networking VPC, VPN, Load Balancers, DNS
  • Experience with Sonarqube, Veracode and monitoring tool like Datadog
  • Experience in secrets management like HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, CyberArk
  • Experience in Vector DB or Graph DB

Good to have:

  • AWS Certifications
  • Application development experience.
  • Experience with Kubernetes addons, security, monitoring, scaling etc.
