Splunk is seeking a highly motivated, inherently curious, results oriented individual to join our dynamic Solution Engineering team. You will be the primary technical advisor for your customers, and their technical advocate within Splunk.
What you'll get to do
    Partner with Account Managers and Solutions Engineers in this customer-facing role to deliver key activities that support the evaluation of the suitability of Splunk’s products and solutions to customers remotely, with a focus on value-based differentiators
    Research and respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
    Deliver a variety of customer-facing workshops to enable our customers to learn about Splunk technology
    Lead discovery calls to identify customer requirements
    Work with customers across North and South America and internal Splunk teams after the sale to assist them with adopting Splunk’s products and solutions
    With training and mentoring, learn the skills to identify customer requirements, deliver demonstrations of Splunk’s capabilities, and use our business value platform to correctly size licenses and establish the value of our solution
    Work closely with the GSS team to develop and continually improve working practices, best practices, GSS processes and procedures
    IMPORTANT We can teach you the technology, coach you on soft skills and educate you on processes. You should have a strong sense of self-motivation, an insatiable curiosity about what “is possible” with technology, the desire to work with an awesome team and a positive, fun-loving attitude
Must-have Qualifications
    1-2 years experience in selling or supporting software products to IT organizations or have experience using or supporting technology in a business setting
    Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and an ability to communicate complex ideas to all levels of the business
    A confident and comfortable presenter interested in developing these skills further
    Ability to be organized and analytical, and will be able to eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches
    Comfortable working for a dynamic technical organization with a fast growing customer base
    Familiarity with programming or scripting is a plus
    Desire to learn, grow and be a part of our expanding and dynamic team
    Spanish or Portuguese speaker (professional level)
