What You'll Do
The Practice Area Coordinator (PAC) will provide operational and business support within BCG’s Corporate Finance & Strategy (CFS) Practice Area, working at both regional and global levels. The role involves managing budgets and reports, supporting marketing and communication efforts, assisting with learning & development and people affiliation activities, and coordinating meetings.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Reporting & Data Analysis – Analyzing data & maintaining dashboards, preparing financial reports, and handling business reporting.
  • People & Development Support – Facilitating people affiliation and learning & development activities in collaboration with the NAMR Director.
  • Business Development Support – Supporting marketing efforts, internal newsletters, and external events (e.g., SATT events).
  • Meeting Coordination – Organizing PA meetings, managing invitations, agendas, logistics, and budgets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Acting as a liaison between CFS and other BCG functions like Finance, Meetings & Events, and Learning & Development.

The CFS Practice Area is BCG’s largest and focuses on corporate strategy, corporate finance, and transactions & integrations, helping clients navigate challenges such as growth, innovation, risk management, and restructuring.

  • Building and maintaining your network with other PACs and Marketing Coordinators, learning from best practices

  • Developing judgement, starting to contribute beyond the PA, thinking analytically through alternatives

What You'll Bring
  • 3-5+ years relevant experience in a multinational environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, economics, communications, or any other relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Demonstrated independence and autonomy in internal/external interactions
  • Previous experience managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to execute defined tasks that require independent judgment, based on processes/policies
  • Ability to effectively coordinate day to day work; apply working knowledge of primary function and demonstrating the ability to solve problems within own role
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think analytically, adopting out the box thinking
  • Attention to detail, quality checking output and ensuring accuracy in work product
  • Professional, service oriented, pro-active and flexible attitude
  • Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate presence and maturity even in stressful situations
  • Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel minimum, ideally also in Trello, Slack, SharePoint

Who You'll Work With
You will report to CFS Director – North America, coordinate closely with Regional PA Leaders, the Global Practice Management Senior Director, sector/topic Managers as well as the Business Services team, alongside Practice Area Coordinators both within the practice and across others.
